The Evolution of Records Management into Information Governance

As companies have amassed vast quantities of business information, the traditional approach to Records Management has failed to keep pace with growing requirements. Information governance is a comprehensive view of the information lifecycle that goes beyond retention and disposition. Bassam Zarkout, RSD’s CTO, will discuss the evolution of records management into information governance and the challenges facing today’s Records Managers.
